If that was Quinn or Makar with Fox's pass/goal, the NHL social media would have made 8 posts about it by now.

Correct, it's between 35-45% depending on the source. I'm not getting comfortable yet, although ultimately this run will be significant for this roster whether they make it or not.

100%, this experience is everything for this locker room. super happy we even have the opportunity to sneak in. the tenacity the team shows bodes well for the future

The Rangers have turned into a freight train on the road--just saying. It was a big snoozer until DiGiuseppe got that first goal.

But I'm also looking at Ryan Strome who now has 58 points in 63 games and thinking WTF!!?!? I know he's playing mostly with Panarin but still----hard to believe that there are those who aren't pleased with him. I mean that's just f***ing outstanding as far as my expectations for him were.

....and Georgiev---there are people here who were talking about trading him for a f***ing 3rd rounder. You know who you are. I don't know if we're going to move him in the off season but he's very easily worth a 1st rounder and should get a +---something like we were talking getting for Kreider. The guy might not be our future starting goalie but he's going to be a pretty good one for somebody else.

Love Fox--Love Lindgren--Love them both together on the same pair.

We've turned into a pretty damned good team whether we make the playoffs or not.

Yeah but those numbers dont show trends. There's teams falling and teams that are on fire.

We'll have much more clarity on our playoff situation after these 2 games against Philly. This is a hugely important weekend, potential for an 8 poont swing. If we win both games we're 1 point behind Philly with the same games played.

Also Georgiev is so gone this summer.

Someone will pay up for him and honestly he deserves the opportunity to be a #1.
I agree. I hope we get an appropriate haul. He deserves the chance and we deserve a hell of a return.

The difference between Sheshterkin and Georgiev is that Sheshterkin, like Lundqvist did for so many years, will flat out win you games on a consistent basis. Georgiev doesn't steal as many (although he does a fair amount as Vally just pointed out) but unlike a lot of goaltenders in the NHL, he WILL give you a chance to win every night. If we didn't have Sheshterkin, I'd still feel great about our future if he was our heir apparent.

Wow, from a horrible 39 minutes to an incredible third. I was ready to watch the Combine full time near the end of the second, but then Fox saved us.

What an amazing season. I knew this year would be fun, but this has been totally unexpected. I can't wait to see them in Dallas.

Yeah I think that's what made this season so kool is, besides the fact this team is as skilled, exciting and fun to watch as any Ranger team in recent memory. It's the fact that this roll we are on came withought warning and totally out of the blue.

I said it a week or so ago but this run the Rangers are on is similar in ways to the insane run the Mets went on during last year's 2nd half when after being dead and buried for first 4 months of the year, Mets got themselves amazingly into the playoff conversation in the National League.

We'll see how it turns out and if we can sneak in but at very worst, this year is gravy and no question part of the bonus plan as we are about a year ahead of schedule from the looks of it.

Pretty damn cool stuff as every game the rest of the way is going to be like a playoff game and it's awesome experience for all our young guys and even our vets some of whom haven't experienced playoff type games in awhile.

I just wonder how much Georgijev wants that starter role. Because if he really wants it, he's gone. But if he's a happy camper playing at Manhattan for around 30-35 games behind Shesty like Boston and Dallas are doing with their goalies... That would be awesome. But it obviously requires that something is done with Lundqvist, and it's a shitty situation when we are talking about a club legend like him.
