It's great to have a mix of young kids like Gauthier (22), Fox (22), Lindgren (22) with kids like Kakko (19) and Chytil (20). Shows the big difference in just a few years of physical maturity makes. It's just amazing to me that guys like Fox and Lindgren have taken such a leadership role on this team with the likes of Zibby and Kreider.

This is the first time I voted for the 3 stars in a long time. I was so happy for the 3 guys I felt really made a difference out there:

Kakko
Howden
Staal

This game is a nightmare without them.

I..I just love the fact that Ryan Lindgren is cementing himself as our top-pair LHD for the next decade. That solves one problem. That kid has NUTZ!
He should be cheap, too. He doesn't score that much.

Remember I said that, Jeff. Let's not do that again.

Puck goes in off Fox and he gets them Terminator eyes! Holy HELL! I had to run out of the room. I was scared! Hope you all put your kids to bed after that puck went in. It got nasty. Foxy, I frieken love you. Even Marc Staal is in my play pen right now. 10 points in...is that right? 45-46 games? That dude is a 23-25 point d-man? He was barely that in his prime.

Did he or did he not, single handedly take over this game? He looked like Brian Leetch out there! Guess he had to make up having that goal go off his skate. LOL!

Absolutely. They were dead in the water down 2-0, barely any momentum. He basically willed the Di Giuseppe goal, which gave them all sorts of life.

I knew once Zibanejad tied the game that they were going to win, but the fact he got the eventual game-winner was so sweet. He needs to be recognized more. He has been as good as Quinn Hughes and Cale Makar.

Centers of our universe...on pace totals

Zibanejad...41 goals, 44 assists...in 69 projected games. The guy is a 45 goal, 102 point C if he dresses 82. 26 years old.
Strome...23 goals, 52 assists in a full year, 75 point pace. 26 years old.
Chytil...18 goals, 12 assists in 73 projected games. 20 years old.

I love what JG has done.

Fox was possessed. He could have had 3 goals and 4 assists this game. Wasn't sure we would get to Price. He made some big saves. Did you see that save he made on Zibad's onetimer in the 3rd, set up by a beautiful cross ice pass by Fox? WOW.

It's only a matter of time Fox has a 7 point night. He's that good.

He should get two Broadway hats tonight.

I couldn't believe he stopped the Zibanejad pipe bomb. That thing is an absolute pi$$ mi$$le. Price even keeled over and almost fell backwards on it. He's lucky it didn't bore a hole in him.

What a comeback from this team. It's something that probably sinks this team in November, but they kept pushing and pulled it out.

DiGuiseppe has been very good since his call up and he finally got to cash one in. Happy for him. Was a good player in Hartford and finally got his shot and he's stuck with this group.

Fox was atrocious in the 1st, but his 2nd and 3rd periods were outstanding. He's grown leaps and bounds in his rookie season. Lindgren just keeps chugging along too. He's exceeded all expectations and should be a staple on this team for years to come.

Panarin and Zibanejad just turned it up a notch in the 3rd. Knew they needed it and got it done. Gauthier made a great play to drop that off to Panarin. If Buch is out again next game, just start him on that line.

Georgiev held the fort after going down 2-0 and was outstanding. He's a legit #1 goalie and they need to do everything they can to have Shesterkin and him for the future. I love Hank and he has done it all for this team, but these two are the future and we should not be compromising that.

Take it to Philly tomorrow and keep the train rolling. Also, probably should call up Hajek at some point soon. Smith and Trouba are too slow to play together and the other pairs cannot be touched.

Didn't Howden block like 3 shots on one shift? I want to like Kakko's game, but I feel has so much more to give. Looks slow out there. He could be breaking up more plays and creating more if he was just a bit quicker. Staal has been very steady since he's been back from his foot injury.
