It's actually a really difficult question lol

Fox is top 5 dman in the league
Igor is a top 3 goaltender in the league
Panarin is one of the best winger

Zib is solid af but I think he's behind the other three

I'm picking Fox but it's close

I think there are so few truly elite goalies in the league right now that it's Shesterkin by default because he'd be the hardest to replace.

I'm 99% sure this exact thread was made already some time this year. Probably still the same results from then, no?

Without Shesterkin the Rangers are a worse team then the Blue Jackets in 2017 with Panarin. 1st round playoff fodder

This is a lot more realistic than the garbage we get about the Rangers not being a playoff team last year without him considering Georgiev who's terrible has a better win % than the 9th place team in the east. The one caveat being that most years the 9th place team in the east has a better record than last year. But an average starter probably gets them a WC.

It's Fox and don't think it's close. Goalies should only be compared to other goalies. Zib is just some TOP-10 C and Bread is only TOP-3 wing. I'll take Fox pretty much over anything.

Panarin fairly easily for me

He's been among the league's best for a few years in a row for now.
Shesterkin is a bit of a question mark still in terms of how high he places. Very high, but let's see to what extent he can repeat last year, if so it might be him by next year.
Fox isn't really far behind, a perennial top 5 defender it looks like

Zibanejad is really good, but he has the weakest case

Rangers really have a strong group. I can still see Lafreniere becoming the best of the bunch too

Still Panarin. One outstanding year by Shesterkin isn't enough to over throw him. Regardless how you feel about his playoff performance, he is the catalyst that stirs the offense for the New York Rangers.

Over the course of the season and 82 games I think Fox makes the most impact.

And that’s solely on him being on the ice for potentially 82 games for 25+ minutes.

They are all monsters.

One player for one game you would want? It would have to be Breadman or Shesterkin.

Shestyorkin of last year easily. Doesn’t look the same this year but it’s still early. Panarin is the best skater and it’s not close at all, although his contract is pretty massive.

It's Shestyorkin or Fox. I'm going with Igor.

People voting Panarin have no clue what they're saying. Panarin is less valuable to the team than Zibanejad.

Panarin is a great player, but take the game against San Jose a few days ago. The winning goal for San Jose is on him. Lets Karlsson go right by him, and then doesn't cover him when the puck comes back the other way. His defensive impact was pretty good when he joined the team, but the last few years it's gotten worse, and he's squarely a below-average defensive player now. It's almost entirely also effort-based, not analytic based.

If you only look at the box-score, this probably won't show up. He scored a goal in the game. You'll think he must've done well, but last season he was an empty points scorer. He scored a lot of points on the PP, mostly assists, but had a very bad season aside from that. This season, he's playing better, but still not at the level of the other three.
