C'mon now, not even close.

The Stars had the 2017 draft where they drafted a top d, a starting goalie, and a winger that had 109pts in a single season.

Good draft for the Rags but not even top 10 of the last decade.

Stars 2017 beat them for sure. Dallas drafting has been superb. 2021 was a great year for them too

2017
Oettinger
Heiskanen
Robertson

I agree 2017 stars top 2020 rangers, but I think this is just being a hater. Would love to see your top 10 draft classes from 2014-2024

The real difference maker was a 4th line depth forward lol.

From that same draft class ottawa got

Sanderson
Stutzle
Grieg
Kleven

And if you want to throw 6 games in as a qualifier lol you'd add 3 other guys to their class

Also if you count it

Faber
Byfield
Laferriere
Grans

for LA

Is this the best draft class for a team recent memory? How many other teams are playing 4 guys from the same draft class?

Laf
Schneider
Cullye
Bedard
It's a terrific draft but you should NOT have traded Bedard to Chicago. ;) Imagine what it would have been like if you'd kept him. :)

Sweden
Is that even the best draft class from that year?

Stutzle, Sanderson, Greig, Kleven, Reinhardt, Merilainen
Could have stopped after Stutzle and Sanderson and it's still better than the Rangers class.

Hell, I wouldn't trade Raymond for the Rangers entire draft class of that year.

Top of my head

Coyotes 2021 draft looks like it will turn out great, Guenther, Doan, Moser, and a few other potential depth pieces. Their 2015 one was good too.

The Oilers 2015 draft had McDavid, Jones, Bear, and Marino.

Buffalo had Reinhart and 3 other NHLers come from the 2014 draft.

Carolina had a 2015 that produced Hanifan, Roy, Aho and a couple other depth pieces.

The 2015 draft gave Columbus 6 NHL players, Werenski being the best.

Boston fumbled the 2015 first round but produced 4 legit NHLers in 2014 (lead by Pasta) and 6 in 2015 (Carlo, Lauzon, Vlader)

Isles had 2014 with Sorokin and Toews and 2 others.

Detroit's 2021 draft is on pace to be a stud.

Minnesota had the Kaprisov draft in 2015 that had 3 other NHLers.

2016 Flames had Matthew Tkachuk and Adam Fox with a few others who made the show.

St Louis had a really good draft run from 2014-2017, the 2017 draft left by Thomas was better than the Rags 2020 one.

Vegas has their initial draft, Suzuki and Hague were taken among others

I'd throw in Ottawa (Stutzle, Grieg, Sanderson, Kleven) and LAK (Byfield, Faber, Laferriere) from 2020

man I think you are really underestimating Cuylle. I just looked at these drafts you mentioned and there are 4 that are definitely better. Some of these I dont even think are close but maybe youre valuing 4th liners more than me.

2021 coyotes - maybe
2015 coyotes - no
2015 oilers - yes
2014 sabres - no
2015 hurricanes - yes
2015 cbjs - no
2014 boston - no
2014 isles - no
2021 detroit - doubtful
2015 wild - even
2016 flames - yes
2017 blues - no
2017 vegas - no
2020 kings - even
2020 sens - yes

This has to be sarcasm right?

They had a 1st overall pick and got a 60 point player out of it

The other? Blahh
Blahh? Cuylle is on pace for 30 goals - You’ve clearly never watched him play. Schneider is a top4 dman. And Lafreniere is obviously not just a 60 pt player if you knew his deployment. Give me a break man

I think you're overrating Cuylle.

For example, are you saying Cuylle-Laf is similar to Ek-Kaprizov??

Or Werenski-Gavrikov?

or even close to Pasta+4 other NHLers?

Or toews-sorokin?

Or Faber-Laferriere-Byfield?

I'd also throw in 2014 Van: Demko, McCann, Forsling, Virtanen
