I'd have to imagine it's a 1 year deal at or below 1mil.

Vermette had 93 PIM last season vs Vrbata's 12, the management is attempting to mend the 28th overall PK.

He wasn't good last year but the guy did score 31 goals in his first year with the nucks so it's not all bad. Not sure why you'd harbour negativity for him.

He packed it in early in the season and then hindered the Nucks from trading him to a contender for picks/prospects.

We are discussing a multi year veteran who is suppose to be a good compliment to a team needing scoring. He whined about playing next to 20 year old Bo Horvat, who literally carried Vrbata from basically the moment Vrbata was placed on that line. Those 12pims are a testament to that, never engaged, low compete level and just a general liability all over the ice. He was godawful last season and that's even being a bit generous.
He didn't even generate interest at the deadline as a rental when the Canucks were a good 20 points out of the playoffs

Yeah. Guy wasn't performing with the Sedins and then pouted all season when he was taken off their line. Bad influence on young players and VERY glad he's gone.
