More like 90/10 he is moved.
Well yeah most likely moved but for futures? I just don't see it. Billy can't afford a futures move. With kap needing to be convinced to sign and the owners sitting through the buyouts I don't think he has the luxury of time after next year.

Futures means he has a full $15M to play with in free agency.

Futures means Kaprizov is gone.

I will consider trading anyone for the right return, but I really don't get trading Rossi for anything but a better Center coming back. Who is going to do that? It's not like this team has a glut of talented Centers in their prospect pool.

No, it doesn’t.

Just depends on what is done in regards to the trade, if it happens.

They can sign Kaprizov in July and trade Rossi in August.

Foligno, Trenin, and Hartman have to match VGK's physicality, but not go over the line, as Foligno did against DAL, and Hartman this year in the regular season. In other words, play tough, and smart. Mojo, Freddy, Brazeau, Hinnestroza, and Nyquist just don't have it in them. They have to contribute in different ways.

JEE is tough and strong, but we need him on the ice, and contributing to scoring.

Middleton is very tough, but doesn't look right. Bogo can help with the physicality, and protect Buium a bit.

I'm guessing they drop Rossi to 4C, have Brazzers in over Vinny and have Hartman back in the top 6 this playoffs

What about an ELC winger who is NHL ready or close to it. Someone like Lekkerimaki. Problem is that next year we would have Buium, Yurov, Ohgren, Jiricek, _____ as rookies. That’s fun, but not a recipe for winning.

Imagine telling Wild fans a few years ago they'd get a 23 year old center who puts up 60 points in his second season, and some of them would want him in the bottom six, and some would welcome trading him (for a winger no less), and all to go after aging UFAs. What a crazy time we're living in.

To be fair, I'm not welcoming a trade. I'm just saying what I think is going to happen.

I need him to get over 50% in faceoffs or add 20lbs in muscle to help deal with bigger players on defense in front of the net. If he can do one or both of those things, I’m all aboard the Rossi at center hype train. Same goes for Yurov.

Sounds like he's in.....

I wonder how Merril took the news? Didn’t he get into it with JH quite publicly during a practice about a month ago when he was scratched? Can’t imagine he took this well…but I’m happy this is the direction the Wild have taken.

He can always get stronger and better, and I'm certain he will, but I am still curious what type of injury he has and how impactful it's been, because at the beginning of the season he had no problems in front of the net. Most of his points/goals came from going to the net.

Wild prospect Zeev Buium to make NHL debut in playoffs: ‘He’s here for a reason’

Buium will take Jon Merrill’s spot on the third defense pair with Zach Bogosian and quarterback the No. 1 power play with Kaprizov, Matt Boldy, Mats Zuccarello and Joel Eriksson Ek. His parents, Miriam and Sorin, will be in the crowd, as will his oldest brother, Ben. His middle brother, Shai, isn’t expected to attend as his AHL team, Grand Rapids, is preparing for the Calder Cup playoffs.

Coach John Hynes made it official publicly for the first time Saturday after the Wild practiced inside the Golden Knights’ practice facility, but Buium indicated he had known for a few days.
