Climate changeThese coasts are getting shorter, but that’s a fantastic goal. Love how he saw that short window and went for it, definitely not the expected play there.
It's like how 90% of coast to coast plays work.We need to stop using "coast-to-coast" on plays where the player gets to skate freely for 80% the length of the ice.
I expect the player to at least have to get through forecheckers or something. Not pond skate from the own zone halfway across the opponent's zone, and then to make one move before scoring.
Do you understand that I could call a 2-on-1 rush where the player ends up shooting and scoring "coast-to-coast" if we defined them like this?
Coast to coast just means from one end to the other, it has nothing to do with weaving through defenders. We need to stop using "coast-to-coast" on plays where the player gets to skate freely for 80% the length of the ice.

Fine, next time there's a 2-on-1 and guy shoots himself, I'll make sure to post the coast-to-coast highlight video.Coast to coast just means from one end to the other, it has nothing to do with weaving through defenders.
Sure, if he starts from his end of the ice. Typically from behind his own netFine, next time there's a 2-on-1 and guy shoots himself, I'll make sure to post the coast-to-coast highlight video.
