I don't disagree from a fantasy perspective, the way this team has performed in the regular season and the fact that they have a backup capable of playing 20-25 games, I don't see Quick getting 35+ wins.

It will never happen. Quick's just not a stats goalie that everyone seems to be obsessed with. He wins when it counts, and as far as I'm concerned is all that matters.

Well, the clowns back east found a way to ignore two Stanley Cups, one of which was book-ended with a Conn Smythe, it wouldn't surprise me to see them ignore a third (but it would definitely affirm that they are incompetent).

I can see how you could make an argument for Lundqvist being the top goalie in the league, but I don't think enough of an argument is made for what Quick has done. Regular season is one thing, but Quick is mentally up for any challenge that is thrown at him. In 2012, that is one of the most dominant postseason performances you will *ever* see from a goalie. He outperformed Lundqvist in the Finals this year and raised his game just because he was on the other side.

Carey Price truly carried his team in the playoffs, and he definitely deserves to be in the top-5. Rask definitely deserves to be top-5 also.

And this is why I laugh at guys who wanna make arguments on stats alone, they don't tell the story. Open ones eyes and watch the player if you can't tell by that then you don't know the game. There is not a goalie in the league I would swap for Quick for my buck he is the best in the league.

Stats do mean a lot to a goalie though when comparing their value. They hold even more weight when comparing a goalie in a system like the Kings. I think he probably deserves #3 but #4 isn't too much of a knock.
