Unpopular opinion but I don’t think the last two goals were Hank’s fault
So the problem is, Hank is a tiny goalie so he's very weak to getting screened. If he was 6'6" this might not be a problem. So that's still a part of it being Hank.

I think Swedish defense is quite tired, they play a long season with their NHL team (and big minutes) and they play big minutes with the national team.

You guys are delusional if you think the goals Lundqvist let today are ones he let in earlier in his NHL career

I agree, but as seen on this thread before, the goalies are always the first scapegoats
The 2nd goal was a wacky deflection that changed directions and went to the opposite corner and the 3rd goal he had 0 chance on because he was completely screened. What were the dmen even doing on the 3rd goal? 1st goal was a softie though. Sweden’s defense hasn’t been good at all this game

Not an unpopular opinion. He's still crawling above 80% in tournament percentage. He's had crazily tough games, but it's not exactly great. He has never been a focused goalie when he's inactive large minutes of the game, he has practiced to be pressured the whole games, playing for the garbage-mediocre Rangers his whole career.

Great tempo in the game now. Keep pressuring and shoot everything, Lundqvist is so shaky now.

Loui is such an awful player. Just no urgency at all. He's finally showed his true colours at this tournament.

When you cant see the shot its kinda hard to make a save… The goals are on the defence not clearing the crease. Any goalie can let in a puck they dont see.

If you look through the GDT there’s a lot of Hank slander for those goals as if the defense wasn’t responsible for 2 of those. They have to clear the crease. Haven’t really paid attention to Hank in the tourney though

Sweden looks weak mentally. The game actually is similar to game vs Russia, difference is that Lankinen let in more golas than Vasilevsky and Finnish forward are not Kucherov or Ovechkin.

Finns have more shots on the goal than Swedes. How is the game running, are the Finns nearer to take the lead or the Swedes?
