Finland plays like they usually do. Very tight, and quick on the feet.
Never underestimate the power of a great slapper. It's not the most important skill but it can possibly be the decider in tight games.
No excuse for a team that was 1st in its own group after round 1. Also, USA beat Russia. Finns have always been good, but it looked like USA was much better this year. Underestimated Finns?
Seemed as if Trouba was already on the way down. All 4 penalties have been odd
Maybe this starts with guys like Eichel& Gaudreau, they should be by miles better than any of our Finnish players but you couldn't really tell they were playing.
That doesn't send a good message to the team.
They did play badly earlier. Either they didn't care or they found their stride or it was just tactic (iI can't imagine that)
Think plays like Pihlstrom's should be a retrograde one game suspension. Matt Cooke and others used to do that **** all the time
