Ahh, I haven't heard of that. Yeah, that's pretty funny. Has he been the #1 in every game?

When he was out of the lineup they voted Korpisalo even though he was pulled after allowing two goals.

Well played Team Finland.
Didn't see 1st period but during those 40 minutes ( 2 periods) what i saw USA was disappointment.

But Finland's defence shutdown USA's offence really well and Säteri was excellent.
This result ( advancing to semifinals) means that Lauri Marjamaki won't lost his job Finland's head coach.

I'm right now laughing my ass off to all those home couch experts who wanted Marjamaki get fired.

[mod] I predicted Finland to win 4-2 today due to arrogant interviews from US players, good line changes (especially Aho as a 2nd line C) and I knew our guys were motivated af after the last game. Lack of finishing skills from our guys and absymal USA: 2-0.

This American team looked like the crappy US teams from a decade ago or so, when they were mostly interested in partying and suffering from hangovers.

Decades ? This is the first year in a long time the Americans brought a competitive team

Nah, they've had good teams recently. Before that it was pretty bad. I volunteered in the 2003 Championships in Helsinki and it was quite amusing to see some of the American players looking really pale and nauseous on a game day morning.

Which semi is ours? Earlier or later?

Well, the international and European seasons are luckily over after the weekend. So, I can deal with this, probably. Hah.
