I know but I was at the Latvia game. It started out worse than this one for the US team, but they got an early goal in the second period to make it 2-1 and comeback in the game.

Wow, I didn't think I would care this much about this game. I had already written this years WHC off. I even bet 15€ for USA win during the 2nd intermission. I'm not even mad I lost - for the next game I will bet 30€ for Finland's loss. :D (You have to have something balancing the joy of win - or the despair of loss.)

Told you my fellow Finns that USA would be the easier opponent for Finland between the states and Russia. Been watching this tournie for too long to know that USA underachieves in this tournament. :popcorn:

Funny how Russian NT is getting more disciplined under a coach, who was notoriously undisciplined and disrespectful towards the country and NT coaches, when he played for Latvia. He basically damaged NT team mentality and chemistry, which we have recovered from only in the last couple of years. Just shows what kind of butthole he really was. Suddenly in Russia he's a whole new man. What a hypocrite.

Finnish press: "Marjamäki, do you wish to hold a press conference?"
Marjamäki: "Yes, I would like that. More than ever."
Finnish press: "More than ever?!" :amazed:

It's much funnier in Swedish and how he says it though, than in written text though.
