Im still refering to older games in the group. About this game in particular the swiss has been good.
Yes they are playing a great tournament, although they got just 1 nhl player, but it seems they are not able to score today (missed so many big chances).

Yeah, it's not like you disrespect Switzerland here, they had a solid second period, creating good chances and playing well. First period was all Sweden though.

Small advantage Sweden so far and I think the score reflects that well.

I like this game.

Good we are not leading.

Else we would go straight into our defensive doubts.

It keeps the game alive, they are forced to play the way the play ... which will open chances in the 3rd. And if the wind turns, and we score 2, Swedes will have no time to regroup.

Ultimately, their overconfidence could simply be their grave and our chance. (i hope)

After all, scoring chances were in our favor, and not by little.

Think the players feel a responsibility to not act hurt even if they are so that they don't make a case for the NHL about sending players to the Olympics?

You could be right. They scored 22 goals so far. 12 players in the team scored. So their is no big specialist. Maybe their is no big scorer. If one would be it, it would be Brunner. ... he was injured ... and didn't illuminate the game so far in the WC.

This will be 20 horrible minutes. Hopefully we can score another one to calm the players down. They are panicking right now. They know very well that the fans and the media are going to rage if Sweden misses the semis for the 3rd consecutive year.

I was just going to complain about Sweden being weak on rebounds. Great play by Lundqvist and Edler.

Lundqvist is a monster
And underrated monster at that.

One Vezina. Lol. Chart shows goals statistically saved against average since the 07 season, with accumulated stats (looking at high danger saves, medium danger saves and low danger saves).

Swiss is officially a good team, I have to admit that.

Lundqvist has been playing good even though many rebounds have been very dangerous.

Sweden playing with more forechecking and more aggressive in the third, nice.

Anything can happen if Switzerland score the next goal though.
