Sweden's captain is on their fourth line? Lol, okay then.

That lineup is not up to date. Well the captain is still on the fourth line, but H.Lundqvist, Bäckström and Lindberg are missing. Backs and Lindberg are playing with Nylander who could be said is 'top six'.

How's Brunner looked in the tournament?

Good but not great.
He has been working his ass off like all the rest of the team did but he hasn't shown much of what makes him potentially the strongest player in the roster.
Then again he got injured at the beginning of the playoffs so came to the worl championship not in the greatest conditions.
Still, he has been solid.

He may not see much ice time today though, Suri and specially Herzog showed a great condition, while Brunner is quite beaten up.

The swedish lineup is more likely the same as it was in the game against Slovakia with Lindberg, Bäckström and Nylander on the first line and Landeskog, Rask and Lindholm on the second, Lundqvist in net and OEL back from whatever ailed him earlier in the tournament.

I am a bit worried, Sweden hasn't been playing too well and takes a lot of penalties. Switzerland on the other hand, even if I haven't watched them that much, have done a very good tournament so far and even beat Canada. Hoping that some of the NHL players will step up their game.

I don't think we'll stand a chance against Sweden. They always seem to outsmart us. I predict a 4-1.

Well, if Switzerland wins we (Sweden) have to blame ourselves or simply feel proud of what we have done and accomplished. Having influenced Switzerland a lot over the years with good coaches and players. ;-)

I predict Sweden and 4-2.

Tricky game today, Tre Kronor hasn't played well at all lately. I wouldn't be surprised if Switzerland would win. More people than Bäckström and Nylander has to step up and create some offense, and defense has to get better. Our defense shouldn't look as bad as it has looked, not with the defensemen that currently are on the roster.

The winner of this game should win the gold medal, at least I hope so.

Of course I hope that our team wins, but I really like Sweden (Nylander, Bäckström, Jakobsson's Wintergreen and so on).

You're pretty much saying Sweden wins the gold medal. Not sure about that, wondering what makes you say that...

I think Sweden will do like Finland. Play better than the sketchy round robin. They both played really "meh" up to their capacity.

I would actually be more worried if Sweden had owned the round robin. Now they have faced adversity and know they can't put out the skates and expect to win. In every interview with a Swedish player before this game, everyone have told they expect a close game and that they respect the Swiss team.

That's all I want to hear. Sweden wins, because not one Swiss player would make the Swedish team and they are all are clear with that they have to work hard to win this game.
Lundqvist in net, that Swedish first line is ridiculous and if the blueline plays a little bit more focused, it's absolutely crushing. The third line is the Swedish weakness.

Also, Switzerland kind of plays like Sweden. So when they face Sweden, they face an opponent having better players doing the same thing. Switzerland can play really well, but an upset against Sweden? I don't suspect so.

I'm torn. I'd definitely want Switzerland to win this because a) they would, to be honest, be a much easier opponent for Finland, b) I don't want to watch Sweden beating us 8-1 (we have a bad team while Sweden has probably the best in years if not for decades) and c) I love underdogs. But somehow the thought of FIN-SWE semifinal... There's just something about it.

Anyway, best of luck to both teams! Hopefully the refs won't ruin the game, nobody gets hurt and the team which plays better wins. (Sweden, don't fall for the same trap that Marjamäki sold to USA.) :D

I say nothing.

and will not post anything if they loose.

But if the Swiss win, i will become the most hated poster by the Swedes.

No Sw brotherhood.
