I'm really surprised we actually seemed like the better team majority of 1st period....But the mistakes in D came, and as usual we are completely impotent at finishing.

Russia keep taking penalties....cant belive it...sooner or later there will be a goal they have to get it together and start thinking. Kuzy and Orlov showed some signs thats good but Znarok better tell them to play more disiplined

Not scoring on our chances hurts. Great start but didnt capitalize. Russians Capitals-ized alright.
Need to jump into the second the same way we did in the first and get a quick goal to get back into this!

Russian offense is deadly, they know how to score on their chances. Thats the difference today...ability to take advantage of their chances. We are miserable in this department.

Exactly. And quality means having the ability to translate that dominance to the scoresheet.
still stupid penalties for Russia. our PP worst, but yeah we are having/had a chance to score. so the scoring abilities... poor
