Him not getting time was stupid. But that was one of the smallest idiotic decisions Grönborg has made this year. Hopefully he will be long gone after first ruining the junior team and now failing hard when he doesnt get gifted players good enough to win even with his anti win hockey

I mean the Olympics kind of an important thing. No use to have a roster sport for a guy you aren't willing to use like at all. You bring players that can help you. If you don't feel like Dahlin helps your team leave him at home. Just an unneccsary handycap to be with one less player than the opponent.

I don't think people expected him to be the saviour, but he is for sure one of the 5 best defensemen on the team. If they want to ease him into a role, fine. But sitting him for several contests? Not good as the alternatives on defense weren't fantastic...

Could have been forced to take him. Lots of times a kid or two will get selected and not play much. Happens in the World Championships all the time.

Dahlin is a player that needs to play a lot. And right now he needs realy good defensive d partner. He must be aloud to do misstakes and have other players ready to help him, when he does. If he get that support he becomes realy dangerous .

The usage of Dahlin is not the reason for the failure of Team Sweden this year. Still it's the only thing people complain about.

Excellent news. I wasn't watching this garbage team play so called hockey this olympics anyway and hopefully this will get Grönborg fired. But if I know the Swedish hockey federation correctly, nothing will happen or they will find a more useless coach as replacement instead (like Boork).
