Good for Germany. The DEL just beat the SHL. Let that sink in for a second here.![]()
Sweden had 10 KHL players and 4 from the Swiss league. Only 9 SHL players.

Experience.

I always cheer for Finland against Canada and I suspect both of our countries will be cheering for Germany in the semis. That game will be short lived , however. We are good friends.![]()
Yeah .. Swedish commentators questioning Grönborg right now, especially his non-usage of Rasmus.
True, but great to see how similar we are.I always cheer for Finland against Canada and I suspect both of our countries will be cheering for Germany in the semis. That game will be short lived , however.
Him not getting time was stupid. But that was one of the smallest idiotic decisions Grönborg has made this year. Hopefully he will be long gone after first ruining the junior team and now failing hard when he doesnt get gifted players good enough to win even with his anti win hockeyLike I said. Expecting a 17yo to be some kind of savior is what is wrong with Sweden this year. Shouldn't need a kid to beat Germany should you?
Not the saviour, but Grönborg picked him and didn't play him. That's strange. If you don't want him on the ice, pick someone else.Like I said. Expecting a 17yo to be some kind of savior is what is wrong with Sweden this year. Shouldn't need a kid to beat Germany should you?
Experience.
I don't think people expected him to be the saviour, but he is for sure one of the 5 best defensemen on the team. If they want to ease him into a role, fine. But sitting him for several contests? Not good as the alternatives on defense weren't fantastic...Like I said. Expecting a 17yo to be some kind of savior is what is wrong with Sweden this year. Well.. you didn't
But maybe in the summer you'll beat us in the football world cup, we always lose or draw one game in the group stage. So good luck![]()
Could have been forced to take him. Lots of times a kid or two will get selected and not play much. Happens in the World Championships all the time. Not the saviour, but Grönborg picked him and didn't play him. That's strange. If you don't want him on the ice, pick someone else.
Yeah, and after beating team Finland in a tight one goal game that could have gone either way.Wow.
Just like in 2002, Canada getting the favourable semis matchup after a stunning upset to the Swedes.
Congrats on winning your first game against Sweden in 25 years! And against the third, or maybe even fourth best team they could possibly ice. Enjoy it!
Dahlin is a player that needs to play a lot. And right now he needs realy good defensive d partner. He must be aloud to do misstakes and have other players ready to help him, when he does. If he get that support he becomes realy dangerous .
In the WC, ok, it's annual but in the Olympics? I don't know.Could have been forced to take him. Lots of times a kid or two will get selected and not play much. Happens in the World Championships all the time.
