He's making the HOF with or without a second Super Bowl appearance.

He's already top 10 in pass yards (if he plays two more years and is healthy, he'll end up 5th all time, he will likely pass Marino & Ryan this year), top 10 in pass TD's, likely ends up 6th all time if he plays two more years), top 10 in completions.

Lack of all pro's shouldn't hurt him given the competition he had in his career.

I think "Big Texan 1st overall piles up the stats until put on a real team then wins it all immediately" kinda gets him in eventually anyway. People like him as a person as well from what I think I remember.

In the last 25 years the only Super Bowl winning QBs who aren't in/won't make it in are Dilfer, Flacco, Johnson and Foles.

in your defense, if he continues to play forever he will never even be eligible for the HOF

Yeah. His cash due is $27 mill in 25 and $31 mill in 26. Cap hit of $49.6 in 25 and $53 mill in 26. Rams are fine with the cash but want to drop the cap amount.

Stafford wants more money. Likely into the $40 mill range. Rams have roughly $45 mill in dead cap from prior years on Stafford. Feels like they would work something out if it’s reasonable. But that’s up to Stafford. I mean he has made great money in the nfl. If he can secure a second SB he’s getting into the HOF. But his 4 years with the rams likely not enough to get him into the Hall given his years in Detroit where the numbers look
Good but the wins were not there. Where can he land where he could win another SB?

Are the rams willing to take a dip in 25 with the hope of drafting a QB in 26 draft?

Anyway he’s 23rd on PFR’s Hall of Fame Monitor for QBs and eight QBs below him already in with some lacking a ring on top of that.

Stafford is pretty safely in the Hall of Fame I think. It’s not just the Super Bowl, it’s going it in Los Angeles.
