I don't think so. Halifax flew to Ottawa for their recent road trip then bused from there. Is there a rule in the Quebec league against a club flying to games? Can’t see a club in Newfoundland being part of that league without air travel for them and teams visiting.
I think teams fly during the playoffs as well. Especially in the semi finals and finals when they start to play teams outside of their division. Is there a rule in the Quebec league against a club flying to games? The Seadogs already exist in St. John, New Brunswick. They used to be called the Fog Devils when they were last in the QMJHL. Otherwise they've had AHL teams there.I don’t follow the QMJHL but will they be called the seadogs and everything
St. John's Fog Devils only existed from 2005-2008 sandwiched in between Toronto's AHL team and Winnipeg's AHL Team. They won the memorial cup a few years ago right? I remember them being proud of being the smallest market in junior hockey part of it

Not that it’s any less confusing but the city is actually spelled Saint John, NB.The Seadogs already exist in St. John, New Brunswick. They used to be called the Fog Devils when they were last in the QMJHL. Otherwise they've had AHL teams there.

And yes....it would be St. John vs St. John's. LOL. Fooled me for the longest time when I was living in Halifax and was a season ticket holder for the Mooseheads
