Finns will give it their all but this year's team just doesn't have it meanwhile the US are better than in a long time. USA wins.

Czech vs Russia
Russia lost last game in the round robin which was actually a good thing, they'll come out focused and firing. Czechs can't match it, Russia wins.

Sweden vs Switzerland
This could be a tricky game as the Swiss have been really good and Sweden can have the tendency to overlook team like that. But at the end of the day, you have to go with Sweden.

I like Russia's chances here. They have a lot of firepower and being the (kind of) underdogs works for them. Vasilevskiy is better than either Johnson or Pickard.

USA - Sweden
Sweden lost to USA in the round robin, which will give them some xtra kick in this game. USA's last trip to the finals was a million years ago, and Sweden often play their best when the stakes are high, especially with a defense like that. Trend for USA will continue and Sweden go to the finals.

First game of the tournament ended up being between the 2 best teams. Russia won that in the SO. I think Sweden benefits from that and with that monster back-end beat Russia in a low-scoring game.

the referees wasnt playing that big of a part, the delay of game in the end of 3rd period was pure stupidity of the latvian player.

Also Latvia don't have the star players Germany has who can be a difference maker if the game is close, I don't think Germany has that big chance but there always is a chance especially when this team Canada has been beaten by Switzerland for example.

Sweden will go out there like they've already won the game like they have done every other game in the tournament except it will not work against switzerland so they loose and Grönborg, Popovic,Garpenlöv and woodcroft gets fired and the nation rejoices
only to find Bendelib replacing Grönborg
