I love how even the PWHL games start 15 minutes after the advertised start time.

Stupid sport.
It was the home opener, they actually kept it short.

You just know it's going to last 30 minutes when it's Montréal turn....

Good 1st, some good wheels on Min and forecheck by Poulin… Part of me wants that record-breaking crowd to go home with a smile

Minni goal!

edit: and I think it's a Minnesota born girl who scored too.
edit2. Verified, Zumwinkle was born in Minnesota.

I feel like the girls are showing more skills this game, they were probably rusty against Ottawa.
But Montréal needs to work on its finish and passing.

I love how they don’t have to fight every time they stand someone up, it’s part of the game.
Probably because the girls aren't trying to hurt each others.

The game is a bit less physical than the Ottawa vs Montréal one thought.

looked like a deliberate trip at the blue there

I feel the games fly by with the refs letting everyone play on. Maybe habs games just feel like they go on forever sometimes

I was actually thinking there was a lot less stoppage and the board battles don't last as long (outside the power play) so everything is a lot more free going.

Montréal defense playing well lasted 20 minutes I guess.

2nd period done. Murphy had very good scoring chances in the last 5 minutes (pp and 5v5), but Minnesota goalie is dialed in.
