The New York Islanders announced today that Ryan Pulock has agreed to terms on a three-year entry-level contract.

Pulock, a native of Dauphin, Manitoba, scored 45 points (14 goals, 31 assists) in 61 games last season with the Brandon Wheat Kings during his third Western Hockey League campaign. The 6’1, 213-pound defenseman served as team captain as an 18-year-old last season with the Wheat Kings.

Yeah, the Isles love the Slide Rule in ELC's. Gives Pulock a sense of security knowing he has a professional hockey future and the Isles have roster flexibility. No real news here.

The Islanders have two split squad games tomorrow against Ottawa, they need 40 bodies to play in both. it's probably as simple as that

I am guessing you will see the Islanders cuts on Monday(hell maybe a bunch after tomorrow's games)
