Proposal: Puljujarvi for Eriksson Ek

1 for 1 change of scenery deal.

Both are ppg players in the AHL and have similar NHL production (JEE’s is slightly better but also older). Keith Gretzky was very high on him in his draft year, so I could see him making a deal like this.

I don’t know if Oilers fans will like this one, but I’ve watched Eriksson Ek a fair bit and love his game. I think he could break out in Dylan Strome fashion. The Wild would hope the same for Pulju.

An addition on either side to balance it would be fine. Thoughts?

I like Eriksson Ek a lot more. Much better production too.

It's a reasonable idea, but there's no getting around Minnesota's need for centers. With Ek playing a lot better lately and possibly stepping into an opportunity with a Koivu-less, Staal-less Wild to end the season, I think it's suddenly more important that we keep him.
