I think the reverse retros were that way for every team. Only team I can think of that has kept using one is Minnesota. For the life of me, I don't understand why they haven't done a second run. I've never seen an organization so allergic to giving fans what they want or making money hand over fist.
neitherWhoever Bednar will trust to play more than 6.5 minutes a night at even strength and can contribute to the PK. Honestly, I'm not sure how much a difference remains between the two, but that's what camp is for. I don't care who wins, as long as it's someone Bednar trusts.
Better than Wagner, tbh.
I was hoping Double Ivan would be the one competing with Wagner and beat him out for the job.Better than Wagner, tbh.
Seems like this is a situation where Polin volunteers that jersey. It is a smart way of getting in the good graces of the vets. Furthermore, Belle will be fully retired before Polin has more than a cup of coffee in the NHL.
If Parker Kelly successfully transitions to center like they’re trying to do, is there any chance PEB makes the team? Or will the injuries help enough?

That bloke Bednar is already talking about playoffs even when the regular season has no even started.

And then you proceed to f***ing annihilate your top stars in meaningless games against the Sharks and Ducks, and lose any chance at competing for a cup because you take regular season games too seriously. As he should be.
You talk about winning the Stanley Cup on the first day of camp.
It should help that they now have an actual 2C who isn't attacking the puck with the ferocity of a newborn hippo. And that in turn will hopefully keep the 3C from getting burned out, IMO it was Colton's implosion due in part to O'Connor's injury and overuse due to Johansen's suckiness that contributed to MacKinnon seeing way too much usage more than anything else. And then you proceed to f***ing annihilate your top stars in meaningless games against the Sharks and Ducks, and lose any chance at competing for a cup because you take regular season games too seriously.
If there's any hope whatsoever this year, we'd all better pray that CMac/Sakic force Bednar not to overplay the top guys this year.
Better have some puck poise if you are wearing that number.
Jason Polin is wearing Belly's old #41
