Pasta going to have to go off for another 60G season. Kind of doubt anyone else hits 30 but hopefully Lindy can get there.

The trouble with having to grit and grind out all your wins is it is taxing on the roster. Felt like other teams who offense comes easier to were more fresh the last couple playoffs.

I didn't get to see the game, but just looked at the game summary.

The shot totals continue to concern me. And although I didn't watch
this game, two to one shot totals maybe indicate the Bruins either
fail to shoot, the shots they do take aren't getting through, or maybe
their opponents are spending way too much time in the Bruins zone.

So aside from it seeming that Bussi had a good game....how did the
rest of our heroes do?

Wally, serious question.

Did your parents hide the house key in the metal milk box, or under the mat

What’s crazier - goalies played without masks, we got our milk delivered in glass bottles, or…..we let our dogs roam free.

I once came home and there was like 4 dogs just hanging out playing in my yard (I never once considered who’s yard my dog crapped on)

Ah, a simple time

Magnetic hid a key under mailbox. But then again hardly ever locked the doors way back then.

Definitely good stuff

PK was strong against legit high end players

Sweezey strong there and overall

Kastelic was solid all over

Marchand skated well but was as rusty as a 100 year old nail

Lysell was pretty good - skills noticeable

Geekie was able to show the coaches to NEVER take a D zone FO and probably be a winger majority

Jones got hurt but he’s amazingly showing no offensive ability- I been surprised how his career has gone in this area

Bussi was very good ~ behind a full D could be interesting

Koepke looks solid again ~ very smart

Still don't lock the doors here in the country.

Windows all open.

Leave truck windows down at night. Sometimes with keys in it

Mower is in the back yard with the key in it.

But I do keep my fishing poles and tackle box in the basement

BTW we do have a 100lb Bernese mountain dog security system...she's very friendly but sounds scary

That was probably Bussi's best preseason game. The rest was meh and I'm a little worried going into the season

The Quiet Corner
I still say Monty has to change his philosophy and tell his players don't wait for a scoring chance just keep shooting. The Bruins just don't have the talent/skill to set up the perfect opportunity anymore.

It seems at times we try to pick a corner rather than getting it on goal...and then we shoot wide

Yes, the good news is Bussi played well and was pretty much the only reason it was close.

The bad news is the rest of the team was garbage. There is no way Lysell is ever going to be an NHL regular. Not a chance. He has had every opportunity here and he's shown nothing. There's basically no pipeline, but we kind of new that.

idk, I'm going to try to convince myself that they've been told to play bad intentionally to test the goalies. Ya, that's definitely it :)
