I'm from canada so i dont know much of the Mississippi River since OHL is the east side of it and such but is atlanta georgia OHL or WHL protected area?

What are you trying to say here? Atlanta is nowhere near Canada and the chances of it getting a CHL team is incredibly slim.

If he's talking about a player from Atlanta potentially playing in the CHL, the OHL technically owns the rights to Georgian players... I somehow don't see it coming up though... Not that there isn't hockey in Georgia, I just don't see anyone deciding to go to the OHL.

Chase Pearson was drafted 4th round by Oshawa this year. He played for the Atlanta Fire last year. It says he is from Alpharetta Ga.

The TPH Thunder (who I believe participated in the OHL Cup this year) is a Midget AAA team based in the Atlanta area I believe and takes the best U16 and U18 players from all over the south. They made the Tier 1 Elite League Championship this year losing to the St. Louis AAA Blues. Anyway the Plymouth Whalers drafted a kid from that team, Aaron Oniel, he is from Tennessee. Owen Sound also took a kid from Georgia in the recent Draft this year.
