Alright all you Marchand haters, even you have to admit that was pretty funny comeback.
Most of my issues with Marchand stem from a stretch of his career where frequently threw extremely dangerous low-bridge hits, among other things.

Personality-wise, I can appreciate a good heel, I think as he's aged he's gotten better at being that guy that you hate to play against while not threatening other player's careers.

You're right though, I thoroughly enjoyed that exchange haha

The one player everyone hates, but would absolutely love to see on your roster. Great interview.

No, some of us wouldn’t want players like him or Sean Avery types on our team.

Marchand is one of the most clutch performers in recent history and a fantastic hockey player, who I point to as someone I’d be disappointed if my kids grew up like.

Winning is important, yes, but how you play the game matters, and he’s the biggest rat and sleazeball going.

What’s sad is that he’s good enough to have had great success without the suspensions and antics.

It’s also such a weird contrast given that he’s part of an organization with such a great overall culture.

When i first heard about this I thought it was something he said in like a post game media scrum and then thought, "typical Marchand coward thing to say" But then saw the clip and saw them both having fun and then it was all good.

Marchy is gonna make an incredible analyst/panel member when his hockey career is over.

If he wants to anyways. He sure wont need the money.
