While he did eat up a lot of clock, he was out of position in the end and caused a 2-on-1 going the other way that Albany eventually scored on.

So take that as you will.

Dermott was held up by two Devils on the boards for a good 5+ secs though. That should have been holding, especially since that's the only reason why Dermott couldn't get back in the play in the first place.

The refs were a bit pro devis that game. There were several non calls that went the Devils way.

Also on that play our pk was way too committed in the O zone and Leipsic should not have tried to go back to the point which led to the turnover.

That play was entirely on Leipsic.

I didn't watch the game. I was just commenting on that one play.

It was a nice clip of dermott showing off NHL ready skating and skill, regardless of the end result of the play. He should see some games with the leafs next year

Really awesome to see our new management actually developing NHL calibre players after the 1st round. The more Dermott's we find on offense and Defense in rounds 2-5 the better the Leafs will be. He's really developed in the past year or so.

i saw Engvall listed as playing how did he do?

He was hesitant but that is probably because it's a new team/country/everything for him.
He skates well and has good stick skills. Definitely needs time to learn the NA game imo

Ya I have no idea of his contract status but would hope he stays here.
Also hoping we sign Korostelev, another smooth skating stick handling big winger. He's having a good playoff run too.
