As we have been doing since 2004, we are going to use the HF criterias for prospect eligibility (less than 65 NHL games and under 25 y/o).

Remember to vote based on all factors and not just NHL readiness. Overall skillset, hockey IQ, upside potential vs floor, age, stats, skating ability, shot quality, leadership qualities, size/strength, etc

Personally, I always ask myself, who would I draft BPA among these players?

Try to do some research on these kids, particularly the most recent ones. People are free to post links and videos about some of the prospects that should be voted soon, or even try to persuade others why a guy should be voted next! Spread info to help people vote.

Graduated players from 2022 (who are still in the organization) :

Jake Sanderson, Shane Pinto, Mark Kastelic and Parker Kelly

To be added :

Kevin Mandolese
Tomas Hamara
Hoyt Stanley
Matthew Andonovski
Owen Beckner
Vladimir Nikitin
Nicholas VanTassell
Nikolas Matinpalo
Oliver Johansson
Cole Reinhardt
Cameron O'Neill
Kevin Reidler
Tyson Dyck
Theo Wallberg

I voted for Lassi who I think is very under-rated in this poll.

Lassi has a chance to make it to the NHL permanently on another team. Crook is pretty sure of making it on this team, as soon as this year. Went with Crook.

From the little bit I’ve seen of Lassi I think he has the tools to be an NHL player.

But you don’t get the sense that the organization really likes him much anymore, so you’d have to guess he’ll only get an opportunity after he leaves.

I agree, Lassi has NHL tools and will get a chance elsewhere he’s just not the right fit here with our current dcore mix.

I don't think it's about that they like him or not, Thomson is a guy who needs some Offensive Zone time to show his NHL value, and PP time would be the best opportunity for him

But unfortunately for him, as of now, all these guys need PP over him :

Thomas Chabot, Jakob Chychrun, Jake Sanderson, Erik Brannstrom, Tim Stutzle, Claude Giroux, Brady Tkachuk, Josh Norris, Drake Batherson, Vladimir Tarasenko, Dominik Kubalik, Shane Pinto and Ridly Greig

13 guys, 10 spots

Which is one of the reasons why the smartest thing to do would be to trade Kubalik for a pick instead of paying (once again) to move Joseph
