oh man. the guy does not look raw at all. he showing a lot of maturity out there. you have to realize this was a 19 year old that was a top 5 player in the SHL last year. this is not McCann

Your take on this player seems like you're clearly just wanting a young top prospect to make the team without honestly analyzing his play. It's pretty clear he needs to go to Abbotsford for at least awhile. Quite possibly and likely all year until the playoffs.

I forget where but Raty mentioned he was ambidextrous so in that sense hes uniquely suited for that technique.

there was another player in the nhl who used to do that it was claude giroux until he mastered it and they won at least 54 percent of their faceoffs on their weakside. aka the right circle.
