Bare bones roster in the Peg
Wolf starts
First look at Kevin Bahl in a Flames uni
Giving him another opportunity to prove that he belongs in a Flames jersey. So far he hasn't exactly blown everyone's socks off but I suspect Conroy wants to find a good reason not to expose him on waivers. No Honzo tonight?
2 votes for Pelletier to be in the NHL lineup. Really? Based on what exactly?
He will be claimed, so be it. Not an NHL-er. Sometimes you have to cut one's losses.Giving him another opportunity to prove that he belongs in a Flames jersey. So far he hasn't exactly blown everyone's socks off but I suspect Conroy wants to find a good reason not to expose him on waivers.
Mgmt wants to give a 23 year old 1st rnd pick every possible opportunity to prove himself. His development has been stunted by injuries and the team isn't prepared to write him off as quickly as you are. If exposed to waivers I suspect there will be other teams willing to take a chance on him.He will be claimed, so be it. Not an NHL-er. Sometimes you have to cut one's losses.
Wolf is starting and expected to go 60That's one hell of a defence... LOL.. Not a single legit top 4 player in the group. I feel sorry for Wolf or Cooley... whoever has the pleasure of playing behind them.
Brodie in Mullen's number.Bahl in Brodie’s number
Well then I hope he's feeling very acrobatic tonight. He'll probably see a lot of defensive breakdowns and miscues.Wolf is starting and expected to go 60
Lots of rubber in the preseason is never a bad thingWell then I hope he's feeling very acrobatic tonight. He'll probably see a lot of defensive breakdowns and miscues.
First pre-season game I get to watch and no Honzek smh

x2Tinordi is like comically bad.
I can't match this
Don't bother, it's the same dude that claims Wolf sucksPelts and Honzek had similar comments this off season. Honzek has changed the opinion of many. A good showing would do the same for Pelts.
You don't think a goalie learns how to react when there are breakdowns on front of him?I have to wonder what Huska thinks Wolf is going to learn from this game playing behind a defense that would be lucky to get a 3rd pairing spot on most capable teams? Would it have been so bad to let Weegar and Andersson play?
