I became a fan after they traded for Ben Chiarot and my friends at school were raving about the trade. Never really watched hockey before outside of playoffs here and there. Was a football/basketball fan till then. No one in my family cared for hockey back then.

Once they ddint resign Chiarot it took a bit away from watching. Watching the Canadiens V Lightning Finals sort of got me back into the sport but was determined to stick with the Panthers. Remember the hype for Mitchell and then Yandle. Adding in Okposo, Dalpe, White and Givani Smith(till traded) it seemed like they could be turning it around.
Since then, just stuck around. Think trying to play hockey on ice/roller kept me through the dark decades of this team.

Swiss army knife Pysyk will always hold a special place in my heart.

This series would already be over if we had a player like him that could so effortlessly switch from defenseman to forward.

These guys seem to almost always shit the bed and play complete duds in their first chance at closing out a team. Hopefully that changes tonight.

Tonight is a chance to close things out and solidify themselves as one of the greatest NHL teams ever. They've been the best team in this series and the best team in these playoffs, by a large margin. Time to stamp that home.

I expect a big effort from everyone tonight. I don't think nerves will be an issue for them. They've been all business up to this point, no reason to expect anything else tonight.
