Meh, didn't we go 6-2 couple years ago in preseason?
I'd be concerned if this becomes a trend when games actually matter.

We have wayyyy too many preseason games for a team who was just in a marathon playoff run. These substandard players are going to play more, and we will lose games, and that's the way it should be until game 5 or 6 of the preseason

Preseason should've been dropped to like 4-5 games max imo. Feels like forever to finish.

i remember watching the Islanders play the Balckhawks in a neutral site game in Saskatoon many years ago. Took my farmer father in law. Best thing about the game was the 3 hour drive home.
