I do think the same. But it might not be as easy as you say in the big show.

Consider that he's being tested at a higher echelon tonight than he will normally (supposedly) get this season on most nights. On most nights this season, he won't get the most icetime like he does tonight. He'll be behind the Suzuki line and Matheson-Guhle pairing.

I find everything pretty normal so far. Adaptation was expected. He has all the tools to succeed and imo has the right coaches and teammates to guide him.
