They said that we should expect cuts after tonight's game. I think that is a reason there are a lot of the young guys playing, who will eventually be sent to Laval after tonight. Thinking of Kidney, Tuch, and Engstrom are the ones that will be cut.

It makes sense as Kapanen is either NHL or Sweden, no in-between. Whereas Beck will be in Laval, but could be called up at any moment during the season.

I also think Heineman is being given a chance to earn an NHL spot by also playing with full time NHL'ers.
