At last a chance to see Ty Tullio and Noel Hoefenmayer in action!

EDM is sending the minimum of the minimum here, esp when they got a chance to see at least 9 legit starters in the lineup we * ahem * won with yesterday eve.

Looking forward to seeing the "Mo! Mo!" pairing of JMo / Salmo and our first two lines at least. Would be interesting to see DD get a few mins also.

And, of course, the return of the Buttery One, the backup who launched a thousand tasty memes...

I haven't been paying attention to other teams in the preseason so I had to check. 10-0 on 26 shots
Hopefully the Jets don't get blown out like that this preseason.

And as a sidenote, how did the NHL f*** up their gamecenter so badly? It looks like it was made by someone who's never watched hockey in their life.

So happy to be attending the game thanks to my season tickets. LOL. Going to watch the Jets prospects anyway but I really don't think $250 for a pair of tickets for the preseason is good value.

Agreed having to pay full price for preseason tickets is a rip off. Didn’t mind as much in the early days but now would much rather watch them free from home.

Given how many tickets can be had at 3rd party sites for less than $20 tells me all I need to know about what people think of preseason games. If you just stood outside the arena tonight and tried to give them away for free, you would still have a hard time getting rid of them.

I gave mine to my 17 year old son who is taking his new girlfriend. She has never been to a game and didn’t seem to know the difference between preseason and regular season. Anyways she is happy to go.

If the Jets started Hellebyuck tonight and had Ehlers in the lineup as well against this Oilers roster, it would be about equivalent of what Calgary had against Vancouver. A lot of people are reading too much into that scoreline when you see Calgary had over half their NHL squad playing, including their top line, top D and starting G
