This is why the Canes keep a bunch of draft picks even when it's unpopular to do so. You just never know when you get a hit. Obviously can't call him a hit yet, but Unger Sorum certainly is intriguing.

FUS turned 18 less than 2 weeks ago.

I've long wanted to see an analysis of the guys who were in the youngest month or so of their draft year long term versus the guys who were the oldest in their draft year. Aho was similarly young when drafted. Obviously that turned out well!

Suzuki and Rees look ready but we are now the early 2000s Red Wings so neither will debut until they’re 25 years old.

Merge Suzuki and Rees into one player and you'd have a top player.

Suzuki has the skill, but man, it looks like he doesn't have a pulse most of the time. Rees is a ball of energy, but doesn't look very skilled.

It's a shame Pono got injured as I'd like to see how he stacks up.
