Kings and Yotes refuse to confirm rosters for...preseason...split-squad...games. Battle to the death, I guess.

That said, no Quick, Doughty or Stoll tomorrow. Veterans splitting games. Looks like Gaborik, Kopitar, Brown in L.A.

Kings' lineup in LA tonight light on vets: Kopitar, Brown, Gaborik, Clifford, Lewis, Cracknell, Greene, Martinez, Jones.

Muzzin also part of LA group. Missed him earlier. Prospects include Andreoff, Zykov, Forbort, Shore, O'Neill, Mersch.

There are still so many players in camp that even General Manager Dean Lombardi didn’t recognize one who didn’t have a number on his helmet at Monday's game-day skate. Lombardi—laughing at himself—tried to rack his brain to figure out who it was but had to ask for help from Jarret Stoll, who was standing nearby. Eureka! Stoll identified the player as David Van der Gulik, who will wear number 36 Monday night.

From Helene Elliott, it looks like new vets/prospects playing at Staples will be Cracknell, O'Neill, Van der Gulik, Shore, Zykov, Ebert, Roach, Mersch, LoVerde, MacDermid, Andreoff, Forbort, J. Deslauriers.

Is anyone here going to the Arizona game? I'm curious how Weal will do over there centering Nolan and Auger. I'm looking forward to seeing all of the prospects at Staples, O'Neill and Mersch in particular, since I haven't seen them play.

Alex is probably getting the nod because of his strength and size to play against men. He was taking the body big time against the Yotes rookies, and I was mixed about his ability to get the puck out of the zone. Obviously the staff was impressed enough to give him one game. This may mean McKeown may not get into an exhibition game. If memory serves me right, we should see the first camp cut down Tue or Wed. There is no rush with McKeown, but it would have been nice to see him get at least one game.

Radio is the worst. I'd rather watch the games at 240p with no sound like the rookie games than listen to games on the radio.
