Expected? No.

Not expected? No.

It could literally go either way. I would prefer ZG go back to Rochester and bake for another season with few call ups sprinkled in.

Expected? No. But he certainly has a chance to play his way onto the roster. Even if he's not on the opening night roster, I do expect him to play some NHL hockey this year unless he gets hurt.

No, but it's a matter of circumstance. He's playing well enough to make the team, but out of all the young guys looking to crack the roster, he (and maybe Armia) are the ones who would be best served getting top minutes in the AHL.

Has anyone confirmed he's getting that 9 game tryout, or are you speculating?

Just speculation, by why wouldn't he? He's looked fine in pre season games so far.
