Any news on the roster yet? I'm wondering if Grigorenko gets another look with some decent wingers before they make a decision with him.

I think we will get a good look at Grigorenko the next two games.

So, judging by the two, looks like Lines will be:

Hodsgon-Grigerenko-Stafford
Moulson-Ennis-Gionta
Foligno-Reinhart-Stewart
Dalpe-Girgensons-Flynn

Gorges-Myers
McCabe-Benoit
Zadorov-Stracahan

For tonight

Loving the forward lineups - both Grigo and Reinhart have solid linemates so we can properly judge them side by side.

Should I start worrying about Zemgus getting 4th line minutes even when season starts?

He is getting very few games in the pre-season. (Is it possible he wasn't ready to play(bad shape), when the camp started in the first place?? Who watched the game vs Carolina, how does he looked?).

Someone, even wrote there, that they may give him AHL 1st line minutes.. (Thought that was a joke, but now, I don't even know :D )

And now, 4th line..

Most likely I'am just paranoid :D Nolan is very familiar of what Zemgus is capable of, so that may be the reason why he is just resting him.

And about 4th line minutes, perhaps they want to see more from Reinhart and Grigo, before sending both, or one of them to CHL/AHL.

Most likely it´s the last option you mentioned. They want to give Grigo and Sam a good look before making a decision. However i don´t believe both of them will be here come the opening night.

Zemgus unprepared and out of shape? No way, not this kid. If he's being limited for any real reason, it's probably a minor injury. They're probably just trying to get a lot of looks at our other young Cs.

Zemgus is a beast. No way he's out of shape. I am guessing Nolan knows what kind of a beating his body is going to take once the regular season starts, so why would he risk anything now? Give him some time on the ice to get his legs warm, but don't run around like a scud missile. I can't wait to watch him this year ...

I like Grigo's interview where he says he feels like he has been contributing, even in the first couple games where he didn't score but he had some hits, some o-zone possession, etc. In the past he really seemed to judge himself solely by whether he produced or not. This doesn't necessarily show a big shift in his thinking but it's good that he can take confidence and satisfaction out of a game where he gets involved in a variety of ways but doesn't score, because that's the nature of being an NHLer, especially these days.

Also, my theory with Zemgus is that he's pregnant. A very special Beyond Blue & Gold coming up on a couple weeks.
