Nashville

Dutchy extended
Stone extended
Larsson

Edmonton

Turris
Subban

Ottawa

Edmonton 2019 1st
Puljujarvi
Bouchard
Nashville 2019 1st
Sekera

Bouchard is a prospect hard to give up but Sekera is included and dumps cost assets

I think this gives Nashville a huge shot st the Cup.

Edmonton addresses 2 needs especially Subban #1 RD.

Ottawa gets 2 firsts and blue chip in Bouchard and a shot at reclamation with Puljujarvi. Sekera is likely LTIR-retire and if not they need to make the floor anyways

Who says no?

Tolvanen should be included as part of the package to Edmonton

Replaces Puljujarvi and McDavid gets a new young winger to work with

I also don't think Edmonton needs any more centers lol they have three first line C's

We need to be getting Fabbro, Tolvanen etc in return. I’d ask for more from Edmonton but I realize they have f*** all. Wait. Add Yamamoto. That’s better.

Edmonton doesn't do this trade anyways... they don't want Turris.. they need wingers.

That’s like 15 million in salary heading to Edmonton my dude and we’re still unbelievably shallow. I don’t think this deal is in our best interest long term since you’re dealing our three best futures.

I don’t think Turris is worth more than Bouchard or an unprotected first, leaving Bouchard/1st+Puljujarvi+Larsson+Schrodinger’s Sekera for Subban. Pass.

Terrible from the Oilers standpoint.

We need some players to step in on ELC's or cheaper contracts to provide depth & this is the opposite of that. We need Bouchard & our 1st this year to eventually become players not trade them for 2 high priced/overrated players that put us further into salary cap hell. If anything, we should be doing the exact opposite of taking on big contracts.

So Edmonton being the cap strapped, screaming for cheap players team they are trade away their two best prospects, an unprotected first, and their only good, NHL calibre RHD on a good contract, for another 6 million dollar center, and a 9 million dollar Subban? All to dump Sekera before anyone knows how his body is going to hold up this time around?

I also really wish people would stop talking about getting McDavid new players to work with. He doesn't need anything other than better linemates for the other three lines.

My biggest problem with this is that you suggest the price to move Sekera is Bouchard.

As a Sens ill take this offer in a heart beat. That is if Stone and Duchene are both not signing

I'd throw in Tolvenen and another pick from nashville going to Ottawa and Dzingle going to Edmonton to even it out maybe. Edmonton clearly gets the best player but they need another winger, Dzingel would fit well there. Ottawa since getting all those pieces for the rebuild maybe retain on someone going to Edmonton to help them cap wise

You get more trading them separately IMO... the offer is a little shy.. needs another piece. We are taking on Sekera in there as well... I see returns for Duch and Stone there but nothing paying for Sekera value wise.. we just did that for free because we are nice I guess

Was only a suggestion on where he could play to have the greatest chance of succeeding and turning into something. Then from there you can spread it throughout the lineup as you wish and get other players too. Not like he would succeed anywhere else is that lineup so this would be the best option

Waitaminute... 1... Nope just one. But he may be the best in the league.

lol RNH is point per game C right now... Draisaitl is PPG+

If you make this trade.. you keep Turris and trade RNH for wingers

Oilers can't add that much salary so this deal is dead in the water. I don't see Ottawa getting more than two 1sts(one probably in the lottery), Bouchard and Puljujarvi for Stone and Duchene
