Nashville should give the Leafs a good test.

Appears Marner is back with Matthews, Nyalnder with Tavares.

Hearing Sandin back in and Lilligren out. Campbell starts

Took this from the Preds GDT. It's cute how they refer to the Leafs as the Laffs.

Trenin - Sissons - Olivier

Playing our mirror image, although they score a little more than do our Leafs

imagine that saying the Preds score more than our offensive minded Leafs

imagine calling the 7th ranked defense over this year and last an "offensive minded" team.

Our defense looks a lot better. Even in games where we don't dominate possession it feels like we do a good job of limiting truly dangerous chances. They still happen sometimes and we need a big save, but in general it looks like to me at least we do a job making sure most shots are kept to the outside. Do the stats back that up at all?

This ain’t your father’s Predators team. Although Saros has been really good, if they show up, the Leafs should win going away.

I haven't seen the Preds this year, are they more of a run and gun team now like the Leafs ?

Lilly and Sandin should both be in. Even if Lilly had a couple gaffs last game so did everyone and its not wise to keep removing him imo.

Also lol at Keefe. Its clear as day 34/88 and 16/91 are just a better fit than their alternatives.

Rotating your "secondary" players is more than fine. Liljegren has been good but nothing wrong with a game off once in awhile and keeping your other players fresh. Scratching players for ~60 games in a row just because everyone is healthy isn't smart coaching.

Unless it's Holl.

Nervous since it's a Tuesday (works with Monday as well) night home game against a Western Conference opponent who is above average (the Preds) to weaker. These always feel like stinkers.

they are if you believe in it really really strongly.

Schroedinger's run and gun team: until observed they play both run and gun pond hockey and useless perimeter possession play at the same time.

Everyone knows run and gun teams just love to cycle and dominate possession.
