It's more than that. It's a day game, on a Saturday, against Nashville. It seems like the Kings always have that specific game on the schedule, and it seems like they always lose that specific game. Nashville usually scores early, probably short handed, they go up a few more, then win 3-1 or something with Clifford scoring the one goal.

Saturday early game
I am sure someone will find stats that prove it is all in my head, but it seems like the Kings do not do well with these.
Of course now that I am thinking about it the last 3 early Saturday games I have gone to Kings have won.
Of course I am not going to this one.

It used to be they'd shell up on D too and we'd outshoot them 40-15, most boring games ever. They're a bit more aggressive now though, but ****, may as well start Enroth!

Was just gonna mention that game in particular, can we quit with this crap that they "never win day games"? As the above post proves it just isn't true.
Guess what? Their is a pretty good chance they will lose, because Nashville is very good and after winning 6 straight you are bound to lose eventually.

Can't really count that SJ win in the last game of the year, can you? 2-2-1, and outscored 17-15 on Saturday's without that Sharks game. That Nashville game, it was 6-3 with 2 minutes to go. 5-1 a few minutes into the 2nd period.
I'm nitpicking a little there, but 1-2-2 in the last 5 home games against the Predators, including 3 straight losses. 2-4-3 overall since the lockout. 1-4 in regulation, 0-1 in OT, and 1-2 in the SO. Only outscored 25-22 without the SO's though.
