That’s pretty generous for us (meaning less points). I think we fall out of bottom 11, unfortunately.

I think one of the most fascinating things to watch over the next two weeks is going to be how the 7-9 slot shakes itself out. I think Vancouver pulls away at 10 and perhaps jumps another team. All of STL, PHI and DET have a mix of contenders and bottom feeders on their remaining schedule and will likely stay bunched up as they are now unless one or more of the three either pulls away or nose dives.

Worth mentioning Husso is done for the season. Fabbri too (I know, shocking). He was hit and miss for them this season but he’s quite a bit better than their other two goalies.

I would love to see us at six. Gotta believe! And I would love for Chicago to pass Anaheim and San Jose. Get them as far away from Bedard as possible. I want to have the job drawing the balls at the lottery and throw away every Blackhawks ball I draw out.

Blues will go from 11th to 12th on the last Day of the regular season. The no 11 will win the Bedard lottery. That's probably the most Bluesy thing that could happen.
Close. The most Bluesy thing would be on the last day of the season, the Blues go from 11th to 10th. We all celebrate that they increased their odds of getting Bedard. Bedard then goes to the team at #11.

Washington, Ottawa, and Buffalo all sit at 11-14 with 77 points. The Blues are at 10 with 74 points.
All 3 are 5 points out of the last WC spot, (Pitt)

One clarification - they sit 11-13. We’re pretty solid on being at worst drafting 13 (pre-lottery). We have a game in hand on Washington, though Buffalo has a game in hand on us.

But only after we win the last game of the season in overtime thanks to a Logan Brown goal.
Seems pretty impossible to move from 11th to 10th in the draft order with a win but…that would be a pretty Bluesy thing to do to somehow pull that off.

It's the final condition of the Judge Houston decision from the Stevens settlement. In the event that the Blues someday win the NHL draft lottery, they're only permitted to move up one spot, unless they were already in the two spot in which case they drop back to #45 overall.

The way things are going, I wouldnt be surprised if the Blues finish 12th in the draft order.
Sitting at 76 points, I can see the Blues gaining another 6-8 points.
