Predict the Habs' record for November

The Habs started the 2024/25 season with a 4-6-1 record in October. Better than many predicted, however among the losses were some outright terrible games that ended the month on a sour note. On the face of it, we're not far out of the race, but at times it looks like things are falling apart rather than coming together.

So what happens in November? Any encouraging signs among the cracks? Does the young roster figure out its shit, or will it be another month of paddling without a rudder?

November sees Montreal play 12 games, 5 at home, 7 away. What's your prediction?

Small encouraging sign: Scoring is up slightly. Habs are currently 21st with 2.91 GF/GP.

2023/24 we were 26th with 2.83 GF/GP.
2022/23 we were 26th with 2.77 GF/GP.

Plus our special teams are doing surprisingly well (let's not talk about last night's 5-on-3 please...).

Last year, we were bad, but some games were exciting and close. This year, when we lose, it's a clear loss, not close at all. Our losses have been really ugly, have been completely dominated.

Comparing to last year, I find that the team performance has regressed.

Gonna go with that 3-7-2 prediction. Dunno why just has that vibe.

Think we beat the BJs twice & the Leafs for HAHAs

4-6-2

The good
Monty settles down and finishes the month <.905
Dach & Newhook start producing at .8+ clip
Hutson scores 3x, remains at top of Calder race
CC remains on pace for 50 in 50

The bad
Guhle misses most of the month
Defense continues to struggle, X & Barron in particular remain depth caliber

The ugly
Dvorak is still here
Primeau continues to be a poor #2
Impatient fans keep piling on the coach & select scapegoats (Barron, Matheson, Newhook) because they don't get what a rebuild looks like

They will Surprise us 6-4-2. Nice 4 game road trip to right the ship away from the constant questioning in mtl. Only 1 back to back, some strong teams but also some that they have something to prove against 2nd time through like Pens and Rags, ones like Leafs and oilers that they always get up for.
