Denmark makes the QF, Switzerland does as well, that leaves a surprise team in the relegation side.
Slovakia relegated.
Hockey Canada actually rolls with Comrie for most of the tournament
Rinet Valiev leads Russia in points
Nylander puts up 23 points including a game with 6 goals.
McDavid fights Eichel, they both break their hands.
Gauthier scores the gold medal winning goal, people still complain because it was his only goal if the tournament.
Finland ends up with the worst save % in the tournament despite many expecting them to have the best goaltending

I have similiar but would say Saros flops and Husso becomes hero of tournament.

Swiss in the QF should be expected, since 4 of 5 teams in each pool make it. Them losing to Denmark, no matter what talent Denmark has would be a bitter disappointment.

3. Amid mass confusion in the closing moments of a semi-final game, a player from each team will simultaneously mock the opposing team's bench, and then both those players will collide at the red line, knocking themselves out of their gold or bronze medal game.

I'm a Calgary native and I'm actually hoping for this. The only exception would be if Canada doesn't end up running away with every game. It's just not fun when we clobber everyone.

my bold prediction.
1) HFBoards Canadian fans will remain arrogant and entitled based on a history that is now a half decade old.
2) Most Canadian fans will cheer for prospect 1st country 2nd
3) If Canada doesn't win gold there will be shock and blame will be placed on Hockey Canada
4) If Canada is fortunate enough to win the gold then the planets will align again until next december.
5) No matter what the outcome Canada will remain the best but have fresh excuses why someone screwed it up.
6) It's always Toronto's fault
