Denmark wins, they were the better team in the third, but a little dirty at times if you ask me.

Yes, you are right. Denmark played with their backup goaltender, and was without 3 of their best forwards; Matias From, William Boysen and Rasmus T. Andersson.

Latvia played without their top line (Dzierkals, Balcers, Buncis) and 3 leading defencemen (Cukste, Rubins, Zile).

Any news if Dzierkals and Rubins were benched because of still trying to sort out the roster and decide on who goes back to Latvia (or their clubs), or they are still a question mark for Latvia due to injuries? This is a very important question at the moment.
Seeing that Balcers and Buncis also sat out, as well as Cukste and Zile at least give me some confidence that it was just not to reveal all the cards and also decide on who will be the last guys filling out the roster, but still... they had injuries

The only thing you need to know about this game is that Apfelbaums played on the 1st line and Svars played on the top D pairing.

Dzierkals/Rubins were both on the ice earlier and I think they will probably be ready to suit up for the 1st game.
