Given the history of this tournament, winning everything in the round robin is meaningless yes. Winning all your exhibition games is meaningless.

If the Czech's coaches sat 5 of their mainstays sending the message to the rest of this team "this doesn't really matter"...

Can already tell Ducharme has this team coached up way better then Lowry did last year. Just playing sound hockey. Came out after last game and said they wanted less penalties and half way through the game and they haven't been shorthanded.

Not to be contrary, but I would almost guarantee you everyone of these kids totally understands the "Canadian way" it's just the Canadian way has changed.

It's not the cliché run them out of the rink like the Philadelphia Flyers did to the Russians in the 70's...

It's discipline, skill, speed and... wait for it grit.
