You can't judge Sanheim based on his WJC's last year. Lowry wouldn't even play him in the pre-tournament games. He was sabotaged from minute one. Lowry clearly didn't want anything to do with him. He's been on a tear lately in the AHL. Sanheim will be just fine.

Right, but we agree that making money matters.

We also agree that we want our teams to look good while playing I assume.

Liking uniform design does not mean it trumps results, but it does matter to many people. I would guess to the majority.:cheers:

Who knows how they end up. But Sanheim did do what no WHL D did in 20 years with his PPG. Let's not forget that. Plus, in the AHL, he has been on the ice for the least amount of goals against in the league. He us playing very well against men.

But with Myers, yeah, it's great to be excited, but then caution comes in because he was undrafted and it's hard to imagine him being that good. After all, Sanheim is probsbly in the top 10 Dmen not in the NHL for drafted players. So is Myers there too?

As for Hart, we ranked goalies separately. And they usually take so much longer to develop, it's hard to say.

But you could be right, they could be better than Sanheim. Hell of a good problem to have honestly.

Tripod, my problem with Sanheim is I think he's a *****. His 5'11 twin brother Taylor is tougher than he is and I'd trust him in a brawl before Travis. Myers is bigger and a better skater, and he's not as soft as Travis. I'm sorry man, you guy hate softness in Philly and Travis is a *****. Skilled D man, but I don't want him beside me if I'm in a brawl.

You know I love your guys, but Sanheim, I don't like. He doesn't have the WHL, western Canadian boy toughness we breed out here. He's missing that "it" factor.

Hart, is better than you guys even know. I watched Price lots when he was in the Dub, Hart is better at the same age. I was right about Provorov was I not?

It's how I was taught the game on the prairies. You play until the game is finished. It's disrespectful to give anything less than your best.

Not every D needs to be mean. With Provy, Morin and Myers, that won't be an issue.

The future Flyers D will be pushing the pace toward offense anyways....all great skating guys.

Yeah that's fair, the game has changed :laugh:.

It used to be mandatory that you could fight as a Dman in the WHL. Even as a 16 year old, boy you had better be ready to drop the mitts at any moment.

The game has evolved, but nonetheless, I don't like Sanheim's soft tendencies. I have Myers over him, and you know I wouldn't put a WHL Dman behind a Q Dman without careful consideration.
