I know it's early and only exhibition but the results have been good. 8-0 in an unofficial game against the Czechs, 5-0, against Finland and now 3-0. 16 goals for and on a 7 period shutout streak
 
This team so far has been playing the Canadian way. Easy group of players to get behind when they play with this much heart and soul.

I don't think they gave up a goal against the CIS teams either(though I could be forgetting one)

Things can change come tournament time but I think the czechs need to start showing something, anything, soon if they are to have any success coming up. I know their fans had a lot of hope for this group being able to maybe medal but so far i have not seen much positive about this team.

Remember they have five players not dressed that will play for them, people getting a bit excited over an exhibition game. Once the real games start things may change.

I was just debating with Flyers fan in the prospect thread that Myers & Hart should be ahead of Sanheim. Whether or not it fell on deaf ears, I dunno.

Got almost every years version for many years running...

They all have red... all have some white... my favorites have the black dominating...

Didn't say a uniform didn't matter... like the closing scene in Slapshot with the strip tease... it wouldn't be hockey, it would be a spectacle... :laugh:

Though female viewership would go up... ;)

Agreed. But he is also in a position to succeed. Sanheim and his offense was not. Morin was just a raw prospect and he will be a stud defensively, which compliments the others perfectly.

But yeah, Myers has looked great so far. Can't believe we added Provy, Konecny and Myers that summer!

Pretty good start. The boys are playing hard the Canadian way, I've been pleased with the effort level from this team.
