Team play is really coming together... Improve a little every day

Yup. Chemistry and coming together as a team is huge. They're teenagers, mental advantages mean far more at this level than the Mens level. Keep buying into the team first wave after wave approach.

The little bits of the game I have seen so far, Canada has been absolutely dominating. It almost looks like a scrimmage after practice with uneven rosters.

The U16 tourney doesn't count to me as National team...

Just wondering how many are outside the box choices for Hockey Canada...

Pretty much all of them are brought playing for Canada, hardly any outside ever make it

I only watched the end but when I saw his crossover with about 7 minutes left to the game

They were so fluid


I didn't know who he was but I see he could go in the 1st round based on some mock draft.

For comparison there are 8 off of the last Hlinka team. Fabbro,Clague,Bean,Jost,Dubois,Dube,McLeod and Hart.

Easily could have been 10-0. The Czech goalie was the best player in the 3rd.

I was just debating with Flyers fan in the prospect thread that Myers & Hart should be ahead of Sanheim. Whether or not it fell on deaf ears, I dunno.

Very much did. The WJC was the absolute worst possible showcase for Sanheim given his role and Lowry's decisions. Why would you discount a much larger sample size in favor of that? I know you've seen Sanheim many times, but I'm going off of at least 30 viewings too. I'm not going by a list. We just disagree. It happens!

Yeah, and Tripod might have sold me on his lack of physicality not being an issue.

It's a fair point, I just see Sanheim as a little soft for a WHL Dman, but the NHL is also an evolving game. The kid does have skills, but I think against a heavy forecheck and when the game gets nasty, he tends to disappear.

Having said that, pair him up with a guy like Morin who can play a nastier game and you can likely mitigate it.

The U18 happens during the CHL playoffs though, around the 2nd round I believe, so a lot of the good guys don't play it.

the Hlinka would be a better judge.
